Having more than twenty years of experience in web design in the past, I am now realising my long standing dream by focusing on creating my own batik studio.
In Moscow, I studied academic drawing and watercolour at the Andriaki Academy, took private lessons from famous artists of cold and wax batik.
Now I like to work in a mixed technique of silk painting and acrylic. I draw murals, scarves, shawls, twilly scarves, pocket squares, mufflers and sofa cushions.
I am inspired by the works of Russian artists and the nature of Australia, filled with poetry and beauty.
I am also pleased to be able to share knowledge with everyone who is interested in.
Every woman deserves a little simple pleasure and tenderness in her day.
Natural silk is like a cool breeze on a hot summer day, or a warming hug by the fireplace in winter.
Silk conjures up visions of luxury. So soft and supple, transparent and dancing with bright colours, patterns and pictures.
To paraphrase the famous designer John Hutton, “..Silk, which has always been considered a luxurious material, is still considered such….”
Surrounded by the beauty of nature and inspired by its diversity, colour and life, I infuse each of my original designs with joy and genuine pleasure for my beautiful new home and garden.
It would be my pleasure to make you a silk scarf in the batik style.
